Safe & Sound Protocol

I am excited to share that I am now a Certified Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) Provider. SSP is an evidence-based listening therapy designed to help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and support emotional resilience. Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, founder of the Polyvagal Theory, SSP uses specifically filtered music to help the nervous system shift out of survival states and into a place of greater safety, connection, and calm. GST Exemption for Clinical Counselling Services

I’m pleased to inform you that as of now, Registered Clinical Counsellors in BC are exempt from collecting GST on psychotherapy services. This means you will no longer be charged GST on your sessions, and you may be able to claim your counselling fees on your income tax return.

Fees & Policies

My fee for 50 minute individual therapy sessions are $157.50 per hour.

Please also note that, as a reminder, a late cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice) will be charged at the full session fee.

New Practice Location

As of September 2025, my counselling practice has relocated to Telkwa, BC. This decision came after much reflection and planning, and I’m happy to offer the same trauma-informed, relationally grounded care from this new location. Virtual sessions will remain available for anyone who prefers or requires remote services. And, my new office will also provide a quiet, welcoming, and confidential space for in-person and land-based work.
